We came to the realization that there was a great desire from businesses to be able to drive revenue with discounts “at the right time.” Although the “right times” differ from business to business, all businesses have fairly predictable business cycles that occur daily, weekly, monthly or even annually. Giving the businesses the ability to offer near instant deals based on their current level of customers, was an incredible idea. For consumers, with many choices for discount opportunities, it was important for us to give them the control over what they get and from who. As consumers ourselves, we wanted to bring some of the control back. It is often frustrating to see messages about deals that are not something we would be interested in, or that are too far away.
TextEdge is a Just In Tme deal matching system that benefits both consumers and businesses. It uses the criteria set by consumer, to pre-qualify the deals, so they only get what they want.
